Peel-off face mask infused with glycolic acid to erase pigmentation, refine skin’s texture and purify pores. Glycolic acid gently exfoliates and brightens skin eliminating dark spots and freckles for an even and clear complexion. The peel-off mask removes dirt and oil from deep within the skin’s pores helping to minimise the appearance of pores.
1. Apply an even layer to clean, dry skin.
2. Avoid eye area, eyebrows, hairline and lips.
3. Leave on for 30 minutes or until completely dry. There should be no tacky areas.
4. Gently peel off mask starting from the outer edges. Wash off any residue with water.
5. Follow with moisturiser or a Skin Republic Sheet Mask.
6. As the skin has a 4-week regeneration period it is most effective when used once or twice a week for the first month and then as required.
7. To ensure skin compatibility, it is advisable to test a small area of the skin before use. Replace cap after use to prevent the mask from drying out.
Glycolic acid belongs to the alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) family. The small molecular structure of glycolic acid allows it to penetrate the skin more readily,
allowing it to work deep within the pores. Glycolic acid loosens the build-up of dead skin cells and oils to help reduce blackheads and breakouts.
The exfoliating action of glycolic acid removes old skin cells, helping to reduce pigmentation for a more even skin tone. Glycolic acid has also been shown to stimulate collagen production, which will help reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Glycolic acid also improves absorption of other ingredients, like retinol or vitamin C,
enhancing their effect on the skin.
